Perth Boomerang Training – learn with the masters @ Southern River Fields

If you have just bought an aerodynamic boomerang (a boomerang that is made to return), either from a souvenir shop or at the Fremantle Markets, come join the master boomerang throwers at Southern River fields (Gay St) near Gosnells, which has several very large fields for safe boomerang practice. The boomerang masters meet for training each Sunday morning from 9am. They will provide free and continued training for anybody interested in knowing how to throw a boomerang.  You never know? You might become as “hooked” as the masters, and from there, you might develop a life long interest in boomerang making and world competition. For more details, contact Rangs Boomerangs at

West Australian Annual Competition 2018 @ Southern River fields

The last time the event will be run by the BAA. Next year, it will be run by the new West Australian Boomerang Association.

Bring your own lunch and drinks.

Arrive 8.30am for warmup and registration.

Start Time: 9am

Hunting Stick competition starts 4pm.

Awards presentation will begin after Hunting Stick.

Sausage sizzle with few drinks will start around 5pm.

2018 World Boomerang Cup @ Albuquerque
